Do you believe in this thing or not?
Billy Beane, Moneyball
It has been sometime since I wrote on it. Things are changing and we are functioning forward. One key metrics – our first three annual subscribers have resubscribed.
That makes us about a year old.
Also, not rich.
But not poor or debt ridden either.
Which is a good thing. Sometime last year, I simply stopped asking for funds, I figured let’s keep building – one brick at a time, one layer atop another.
It is a testament to our industriousness and sounds poetic, but technology does not work that way. Things move faster. Frameworks change. Banks throw money and then banks don’t throw money at all. And you can never figure out where you stand in that swell.
Always Be Selling
That had been the mantra so far. We have been trying with some good months and some slow months and some lethargic months but never did spectacularly well, but gradually we are capturing the market, like a drop in the bucket in the ocean.
It may not make sense but paints the picture.
What’s in the future?
This is filler. I took a moment to reflect upon the growing progress at one end, and non-progress at all the other ends. I will have lot more news in the days to come as we have made some breakthroughs in the use of Large Language Models for Machine Dalal.
Some of the pushy-pushy things might have to go, and some streamlining is required and a relook into the way this business is being run. This process of catharsis aside, a promising business such as this cannot be run with melancholy.
