“The first draft of anything is shit.”

This is probably going to be a short one, simply because I do not have the time to write a proper one but I do not wish to not update this. As we made progress. We also messed up and had an almost 48 hours downtime. And partly due to Microsoft’s fault. Those guys are not that smart as they are made out to be. It was our team in Punjab that solved the problem.
It was like a crash-test that we failed but if we look at the bright side; our users stood by us. We did not offer any discounts or had to make amends.
Our revenue grew, our userbase grew, engagement grew, but our development costs did come down.
As usual we did not spend anything on advertising. That budget stays at ‘0’.
This is not to say we won’t in future but we are kind of sure that we will not spend on digital advertising. Also, if we consider the cost of sending our newsletter, it would be more than zero. The salaries and wages too should be considered. We are not delusional like that, we understand the true costs, but at least we have kind of worked around not spending on digital advertising.
A beautiful constraint indeed.
Another good thing. We may have landed ourself a knowledge partner. Someone with whole lot of technical expertise. I shall keep you posted how that pans out.
A shout out to the excellent team at Hashbrown, and a cursory link to Machine Dalal
